Rogue Alchemy

High Concept: Tactics RPG with infinite gameplay.


A turn-based strategy RPG that blends the deep tactical combat of Disgaea with the endless procedural complexity of Dwarf Fortress.  Players command a squad of quirky characters across vast, ever-changing environments, where every encounter offers new challenges and surprises.  The game offers limitless gameplay through infinite scaling, deep customization, and strategic depth, ensuring players are always adapting and evolving their tactics.

Runeshade Isle

Between expeditions,  the player can craft and upgrade in their home port village, which will become more complex as they gather new allies and unlock new buildings.

Expeditions

Environments will be generated with gameplay and fun in mind.

The details are still developing, but we are throwing traditional randomness out the window.  Quests will also contain a bit of procedural tampering.

Platformer Movement / Tactics Combat

Maybe not full platformer, but expect to be able to run, jump, and climb, with your companions following behind you.  Then, whenever and wherever combat starts, everyone side-steps neatly onto the battle grid.  NPCs will take their turns to flee, hide, or form their own faction for the fight.
